Joseph has tried and won more than 160 jury trials during his forty-five years of practice. Joseph has published articles in the Massachusetts Law Review, "The Forum: Risk Management Foundation of the Harvard Medical Institutions," and other journals concerning medical malpractice and has lectured extensively at seminars concerning all aspects of civil trial practice.
Joseph received his bachelor’s degree from Colby College in 1975 and his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1978, where he was President of the Moot Court Board. Upon graduation, he received a judicial clerkship and served as a Law Clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court from 1978 to 1979. He then accepted a position at a trial firm in Boston, where he practiced for twenty-five years before leaving to head his own firm in 2003.

Jacqueline has tried and won several complex jury trials and appellate court arguments and leads all aspects of trial and appellate work in civil actions such as medical malpractice defense, construction liability, product liability, personal injury, and consumer protection in state and federal courts.
Jacqueline received her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2014. While in law school, she was a judicial intern for the Honorable Spencer M. Kagan (Ret.) at the Middlesex Probate and Family Court in Cambridge, Massachusetts and clerked for Sloane and Walsh, LLP and Esdaile, Barrett, Jacobs & Mone, both of Boston, Massachusetts. She was a Regional Finalist in the 2014 European Law Moot Court Competition at the University of Minho in Braga, Portugal and a Semifinalist in the 2013 Wendell F. Grimes Moot Court Competition at Boston College Law School in Newton, Massachusetts.
In 2006, Jacqueline received her B.A. in English from Tufts University where she was a member of the Varsity Sailing Team and wrote for The Tufts Daily. She also studied at the University of Alicante in San Vicente, Spain.

Dottie joined the firm in 2018 after moving to Massachusetts from South Carolina with the help of the Animal Rescue League of Boston. She can usually be found snoozing under Jacqueline's desk or wandering around the office to see who is eating lunch.
